As previously mentioned we expect a great deal of these Low Priced Beginner FPV Drones to hit the marketplace in early 2015. We will hopefully receive a number of these as soon as they come to market and will endeavour as always to deliver an unbiased and impartial review. The Sky Hawkeye Beginner FPV Drone arrived yesterday and we will take some images over the festive period and start our FPV RC Quadcopter Drone Review of the Sky Hawkeye.
Beginner FPV Drone Unboxing
First Impressions we have is that the Sky Hawkeye is simple to set up and after the Drone battery and FPV screen are both charged up and you have fitted the 4x AA batteries in you transmitter your ready to go. We did have a slight issue fitting the FPV camera to the body but this was easily solved using a nail file. We will take some images and explain what need to be done in case you encounter a similar problem.
The Beginner FPV Drone build is toy quality as you would expect from a under $50 model but all parts seem well constructed and the landing skids are very flexible.
The box says Easy-to-fly technology and that’s exactly what the FPV Sky Hawkeye is. Indoors we found it super stable and simple to use, just what you need from a Beginner FPV Drone.
The 5.8gh image transmission is a great improvement from the standard 2.4gh found in similar models.
The LCD FPV has a slot for Micro SD Cards so you can record what you see on the FPV screen. The Micro SD card is included as part of you Beginner FPV Drone Package.
